Catherine Delphi Wright (known as Cat Delphi) has performed for a number of worldwide exclusive events and Brands. Recent TV performances include playing piano with Alicia Keys for Bridgerton ‘Queen Charlotte’ Netflix (May 2023) &  with Shania Twain on ITV 'Starstruck' (March 2023). She also played on 'Top Of The Pops' (BBC 1), HBO Drama 'Succession' (Sky Atlantic) The Amazing Mr Blunden (Sky One) BBC Drama ‘Last Tango in Halifax’ & accompanying Grammy Award Winner Sir Bryn Terfel.

Solo artist performances include playing live on 'Jools Holland Presents' &  'The Dermot O' Leary show' (BBC Radio 2), having previously studied Classical Piano at the world famous 'Royal College of Music'.

in 2024, Cat was the main feature in 2 adverts for piano brand ROLI for their Lumi Keyboards.

Cat is a ‘One’s to Watch’ recording artist and was the first recipient of the MOBO AWARDS Fund. She is a GOLD selling songwriter with co-write releases through Jive Records | Sony Music and most recently with Epic Records | Sony Music & Perfecto Records (Paul Oakenfolds Label).  Cat's songs have been played on TV shows including Geordie Shore (Paramount Plus), ’NBC News ’ (USA), 'Home &  Away’ (Australia), ‘Neighbours’ (Australia) MTV (France) & ITV ‘This Morning’ (London). She has written music that has had over 2.5 MILLION streams and continues to write with artists from Universal, Warner , Sony, as well as Grammy nominated Writers &  Producers.

Cat performed at the 2023 British Grand Prix @ Silverstone, the 2023 Carabao Cup Final @ Wembley Stadium, the 2021 James Bond ‘No Time to Die’ launch at Aston Martin , The FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium (2018 &  2019) , The Official Aston Martin ‘DB4 GT’ Launch, The Epsom Derby (where the Queen was in attendance) , A private performance at the Lord Mayor of London’s Mansion , The 2018 Hockey World Cup Final , ‘Bally’ Fashion Launch (in Cannes, France, @ Hotel Du Cap Eden Roc) , The 2019 Volvo S60 Launch, The 2019 Bournemouth Football Club Awards Gala &  at the Hampton Court Flower Show.

Her solo debut single 'FIRE' reached over 600,000 streams, was playlisted on BBC Radio 2 and had support from Jo Whiley, Richard Madeley &  Kiss 100. Cat was nominated for ‘Best Songwriter’ &  ‘Best Female Solo’ at the British ‘Unsigned Music Awards’ presented by Laura Whitmore and Radio 1’s Chris Stark on SKY1, regularly supported by BBC Introducing, was British Airways ‘One’s to Watch’ &  continues to be played on radio stations all over the world including USA, China and Europe.

Cat came back from a songwriting trip to LA in June 2022 with some exciting projects on the horizon (more to follow).

Cat performed aboard the largest privately owned yacht ever built 'The World', performing in The Seychelles & Madagascar. She has also performed at The Venezuelan Embassy, Biggin Hill Private Airport (for Rizon Jet, Luxury Travel), The National Assembly of Wales, The Natural History Museum, The Royal Academy of Arts, The Essex Bentley / Lamborghini Showroom opening (2018) &  The BBC BAFTA Cymru Awards, . 

Cat currently has a residency at The Dorchester Hotel & The Savoy Hotel. She has also played at a range of  5* hotels (including The Mayfair, The Connaught, The Soho Hotel and Cafe Royal).

Music has always been a huge part of Cat’s life from a young age, she received her Grade 8 piano aged 12 and after studying at The Royal College of Music in London, was later awarded the 'Leverhulme' scholarship (the highest award given to one student per year) to study at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she gained a Bachelor of Music BMus (Hons) and Master of Arts (MA).

Cat was runner up in 2 prestigious international Piano Competitions including The Eric Hodges Beethoven Piano Competition and The Teresa Carreno Prize (@ The Royal College of Music). She has also won numerous Piano Competitions all over the UK including regional ‘Young Musician of the Year’. 

 

Cat Wright Events provided a range of entertainment, hosts and photographers for the Princess of Monaco Foundation Art Ball at The Dorchester Hotel in 2017 and were invited back to provide more acts and entertainment for the 2022 Art Ball, hosted at Claridge’s.
